The sun is setting earlier now. One hour less gives way to suggestions that we embrace these slower days and warm evenings in appreciation for its movements into fall. One last gaze across the sparkling pond; one last look overhead to see geese betray their anticipation into southern regions; and one last meal at the park where children play with spouts of water flourishing and creating sprays that cools the heated grass. Soon they will run for towels and blankets to dry off their soaking hair and dampened bodies. One last look before the sun makes it way to give summer to the other side of the earth while we save memories until the next cycle of the earth
